Worked solution
Strategy
One trigonometric ratio and the quadrant fix all the others: the Pythagorean identity gives the size of cos θ, and the quadrant gives its sign.
Working
The Pythagorean identity.
Cosine is negative in the second quadrant.
Divide, then rationalise the denominator.
Answer
The answer is negative two root five over fifteen, about −0.298.
Check
θ = π − arcsin(2/7) ≈ 2.8518, and tan 2.8518 ≈ −0.2981.
Where this goes wrong
Taking the positive square root for cos θ. In the second quadrant cosine is negative, so tan θ is negative too.
